Mimi Moore

Mimi spent years immersed in the vibrant art world as an interior designer, curator, co-owner of an art gallery, and director of art programs at Denver International Airport. Caring for her parents during their health challenges heightened her awareness of the difficulties in finding trustworthy, compassionate in-home assistance. In 2011, Mimi made a transformative leap into eldercare by founding At Your Service Elder Care in Ojai, California. Now based in Denver, she combines her creativity, business acumen, and heartfelt care at MooreElderCare, enhancing her clients' lives and ensuring they feel valued and cared for every step of the way.

  • Finding Mimi was a blessing. Our parents faced significant challenges and after several unsuccessful attempts at finding caregivers, we were at our wit’s end when a family friend introduced us to Mimi—we felt like we had hit the jackpot.

  • For over two years, a few hours each week, Mimi was a companion, assistant, and caregiver for my mother, Betty, in Ojai, California, tending to many of her needs—shopping, errands, doctor appointments, social activities, and keeping Mom company. Mom had never been happier than she was with Mimi.

  • When my mother stopped driving, she required assistance with her daily activities. Finding the right support proved challenging. Mimi and my mom instantly hit it off. They established a routine that included walks, trips to the post office, shopping, appointments, lunch, and the highlight of their day – doing crossword puzzles together. We feel so fortunate for Mimi, especially for the pleasure and companionship she brought my mother in her later years.

OUR OFFERINGS

We are here to support you every step of the way, making the journey of elder care as smooth and comforting as possible. Here’s what you can expect:

WHAT’S NEXT?

  • We’ll begin with a consultation, either through Zoom or in person, to discuss your caregiving needs. This allows you to share your concerns and preferences while enabling me to explain our services. We’ll evaluate whether our approach matches your expectations and if we’re the right fit for your family. After our initial meeting, then we move on to planning the care.

  • Following our initial conversation, we’ll schedule a visit and conduct an assessment to understand your loved one’s specific needs and preferences. Together, we’ll create a tailored plan to address those needs, and establish a schedule that works best for your family. After we have created a plan, then we can begin care.

  • Once you review and approve the care plan, we begin the agreed-upon services. Then, we will regularly check in with you and your elder to make necessary adjustments.

  • To ensure the highest quality of care, we perform regular follow-ups with you. This allows us to collect feedback, and make necessary adjustments to the plan. Your satisfaction and the well-being of your loved one are our top priorities.
